Luke Elwes was born in 1961 in London where he now lives and works. He studied at Camberwell School of Art and Bristol University between 1979 and 1985, and completed his postgraduate studies in Art History at Birkbeck College, London in 2007.  He shows in London mainly with the Adam Gallery.
