Alan Reynolds (1926-2014)

Reynolds was a key figure of the Neo-Romantic movement during the 1950s. His work captured the essence of the British landscape in a contemporary style, which proved to be very desirable.

From the 1960s his work was abstract, Reynolds made tonal drawings, woodcuts and constructed reliefs, many of which were completely white.

A retrospective of his work was held at Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge in 2003.
