An artist well known for his seascapes and narrative paintings, Eurich has long been admired as a figurative painter. Having been born and educated in Yorkshire, he moved to London to study at the Slade School of Art. His first exhibition was at the Goupil Gallery and then later he showed with The Redfern Gallery. He was made an Official War Artist to the Admiralty from 1941-1945. Later in life, he showed at Arthur Tooth and Sons and then The Fine Art Society. A retrospective of his work was held at the Imperial War Museum in 1991.
