Geoffrey Key (b.1941)
Geoffrey Key was born in Rusholme, Manchester in 1941 and entered the High School for Art in 1954.
In 1958 Key joined the Regional College of Art in Manchester where he was taught by the sculptor Ted Roocroft and the painter Harry Rutherford.
Since the mid 1960s Geoffrey Key’s work has been widely exhibited and collected. His work shows a masterly command of colour, form, tone and texture.
