Bernard Dunstan, RA (1920-2017)

Bernard Dunstan is a very collectable artist particularly famed for his intimate interiors painted on a small scale which are reminiscent of the Sickert / Vuillard tradition. He is married to the artist Diana Armfield and they live together in Kew, both still working.

He studied at Byam Shaw School of Art and The Slade School of Fine Art. He taught widely at West of England School of Art in Bristol, Camberwell School of Art, Byam Shaw, Ravensbourne Art College, and City and Guilds of London Art School.
